The Treatment
Not one pin moves all night. That is the standard the work is built to.
Start with a consultationFormal styling is engineering wearing a beautiful dress. An updo that survives a wedding has to hold through hours of dancing, weather, and photographs, and still look effortless in every one of them. She builds for that: the foundation is set first, the shape is pinned to last, and the finish is matched to your dress, your face, and the day itself.
Weddings, prom, and homecoming are booked well ahead, usually with a trial appointment first, so the day-of chair time is calm and exact. Mention the date on your consultation call; the calendar around wedding season fills early.
What it does
The Appointment
From the call to the chair
- i.
Book the call
Choose a consultation slot on the calendar. She asks about your hair, your history, and what you want, then quotes the service and the time it needs. The $40 hold comes off your service.
- ii.
The trial
Weeks before the day, the style is built in full, photographed, and adjusted until it is right. You leave the trial knowing exactly what the day will look like.
- iii.
The day
The proven style, executed without experiment. Arrive with clean, dry hair unless she tells you otherwise on the call, and leave for the occasion with nothing left to chance.

Questions
About updos & formal styling
Anything not answered here gets answered on your consultation call.
Do I need a trial appointment?
For weddings, yes, and she will say so on the call. The trial builds the full style weeks ahead so the day itself holds no experiments. For prom and homecoming a trial is optional.
How far ahead should I book?
As soon as you have the date. Weddings are booked months out, especially in season, and prom weekends fill fast. The consultation call is the place to hold your date.
Can you style my hair texture into an updo?
Yes. Every texture the salon cuts, it also styles: curly, fine, thick, relaxed, and natural hair each get a foundation built for how they hold.
Will it really last the whole event?
That is the standard the work is built to. One guest's wedding updo went through a trial, a ceremony, and a full night of dancing without a pin moving, and that review is on the homepage.
What does formal styling cost?
It depends on the style, the length, and whether a trial is included, and it is quoted on your consultation call with the $40 fee credited to the service.
