The Treatment

Warmed Egyptian oils, unhurried hands, and eighteen years of knowing scalps.

Start with a consultation

This is the treatment the boutique grew out of. Before the oils ever had a shelf, they had a chair: warmed drops of Egyptian oil worked slowly into the scalp, the hairline, the neck, and the shoulders, in the quietest corner of the salon.

The massage begins with choosing the oil. The collection is distilled by a single family in Cairo, and each blend carries its own mood: Lotus Flower for stillness, Lavender for calm, Rose for warmth. She warms the oil in her hands and works from the crown down, slow circles at the temples, steady pressure along the neck, a long finish across the shoulders.

You leave with the day set down, and with your hair glossed in botanical oil. Many guests book the massage on its own; just as many place it before a silk press, a treatment, or a style, so the oil does its softening work first.

Questions

About egyptian healing head massage

Anything not answered here gets answered on your consultation call.

What is the Egyptian Healing Head Massage?

A slow scalp, neck, and shoulder massage using warmed Egyptian essential oils from the salon's own boutique collection, distilled by a single family in Cairo. It is the treatment room practice the boutique grew out of.

Which oil is used?

The blend is chosen with you at the appointment from the boutique shelf. Lotus Flower, Lavender, and Rose are the most requested for the chair, and every oil in the collection is available to take home afterward.

Will there be oil left in my hair?

Yes, and that is part of the treatment. Your hair is left glossed and soft. Wash it out at home whenever you like, or book a style in the same visit and she will work from the oil.

Can I add it to a hair appointment?

Yes, and it is the most common way guests take it. Placed before a silk press or a treatment, the oil does its softening work first. Mention it on your consultation call and she will set aside one block of time.

How long is the massage, and what does it cost?

The time and the price are set on your consultation call, because the massage is fitted to what else you are booking that day. The $40 consultation fee is credited to your service when you book on the call.

Is this a medical treatment?

No. It is a relaxation and beauty ritual. It is time, warmth, practiced hands, and very good oil, and it asks nothing of you but to sit still and enjoy it.
